EVALUATING OPTICALLY ISOLATED MOSFET CONTROL
Digital Rep's interface evaluation kit was designed to evaluate the operation and performance of the Vishay VOM1271 optically isolated MOSFET driver. A high voltage TrenchFET is placed as an isolated switch to complete the circuit and allow the rise and fall times of the gate drive to be evaluated. This can be used as a simple relay with 3750V of isolation between the input and the switched output.
All source code is available at our source repository to offer complete guidance and assist in setup and troubleshooting.
